Freshwater Penant

A little quieter than Manly. Just how Freshie likes it.

Tucked between Queenscliff and Curl Curl, Freshwater is one of those beaches that still feels distinctly local. A beautiful little cove, a strong surf culture and the kind of place people become fiercely attached to.

It also has a special place in Australian surfing history. In 1915, Hawaiian swimmer and surfer Duke Kahanamoku famously demonstrated surfing at Freshwater, helping introduce the sport to a much wider Australian audience.

Our Freshwater Pennant takes its cues from old surf-club and souvenir pennants, with natural canvas and deep blue vintage lettering. A little tribute to Freshie and its place in Sydney beach culture.
